Slang words in 21st century
Jordan, Poland, Croatia, Slovakia, Turkey, France
Learning a language gives you the opportunity to engage with the world. Anyone who starts learning a language usually begins with verb tenses, common phrases, word syntax, grammatical structure. Who wants to really know the language understands the importance to pay attention to not only formal but also informal language.

More than just language
Slang, or informal words often belong to a specific region or dialect, are highly creative phrases that demonstrate the evolution of language over time.

Teens and slang
Teens in each generation develop a unique language of their own. To understand what teens are saying is really challenging because teen-speak is evolving faster and faster.

Why slang?
Most of these words simply disappear and are replaced with new ones. So, teen slang words may be confusing but are a part of a teen's identity. Teens want to show their independence, sound cool, fit in with their peers.
